‘Negative Beats’ is an album that collates all of Church Of Non Believers “experiments in pop”. Written as a reaction to the intense and personal debut album, ‘Birth’ it essays a more melodic and electro pop style. In its sum, it’s is a compilation of their 3 EPS: Electro Shock Misery, Auto Melodica and Fresh/Cuts but as a whole it reveals an album that confidently explores modern life, death and our current political climate. Add to this six transformative remixes by local talent such as endoflevelbaddie, My Pleasure and myonemanband this is an expansive album that reveals new layers with every listen.
